Burberry Fall 2014

Burberry must be patting themselves on the back for having moved their show back to London a few years ago. In Milan, they were secondary to Prada, Gucci, and co. But in London, everyone acts like they are the greatest brand on earth and every single blogger who gets an invitation to this show (and Tom Ford – who probably shows in London for the same reasons) feels the need to Instagram a photo of the invitation a million times. It’s the big fish in a small sea story.

As for the collection, it is all about print. It looks pretty nice, but I’m not writing home about it. Better than mediocre, but certainly not fabulous. I suppose I’m just glad it’s not the classic trench coat over and over again.

I love..

Gorgeous. Love the move away from the very rigid silhouettes of previous seasons. Plus they just sold so many scarves.
