This is a bit later than expected as I was moving this weekend. Here are my highlights (and lowlights) of the New York shows. Read about London, Milan, and Paris.
the young, cool lady who lunches at Jason Wu.
the fur coats at Oscar De La Renta. I also likes that he definitely isn’t turning over in his grave right now.
that Michael Kors was a bit more relaxed than usual, but still very chic and clean.
that Coach looked pretty cool. But I would still never touch one of their bags.
that Carolina Herrera was predictably chic. It is good to have a few brands you can count on.
that too many dresses at Givenchy looked like they were pieces of old lingerie shoddily stitched together.
that Marc Jacobs Spring 2015 looks like it was all taken out of one of the most fun dress up boxes in the world. Great for dress up time, terrible for real life. Or even fashion life.
that Tommy Hilfiger was inspired by hacky sacks and got this collection very wrong.
deconstructed suits at DKNY. No thanks.
that Alexander Wang put together a collection that was a mix of boring, tacky, and/or lame. And people still loved it.
