This John Fluevog ankle boot combines everything I love about a shoe: it’s got a heel to make you taller (but a platform so the arch isn’t too steep), studs (you can never have too many of those on a shoe), and it is in a statement colour. Well, you can also get in it in black and brown, which is probably what I’d end up doing, but I’ve definitely started being more brave with my shoe colours. Most of my wardrobe is in black so I can easily go with a crazy shoe tone, and it won’t clash.
