There is some great outerwear and evening wear in the 3.1 Philip Lim Fall Winter 2010 show, designed for a young, trendy consumer. A lot of it felt like classics with a twist, a great camel coat with a rolled up sleeve, or a traditional beaded dress in a sack shape.
I Love…

this double poncho coat. I don't know why, but I do. And the knotted cuff on the pink blouse is a beautiful detail. I love knots way more than bows.

the rolled up cuff on this coat, and the fact that the buttons are placed very low. The balance is perfect..

this fantastic evening suit. The shape of the shawl collar on the jacket is beautiful, and the intricate fabric manipulation on the skirt with the gold top makes for a great outfit.

that sometimes hidden luxury is the best king of luxury. I love that the gold embellishment on this top is gently concealed by the chiffon tunic.
I Loathe…

that this looks very American Apparel, but they would at least make the poncho look a bit sexy. It is just too big.
