Jonathon Saunders Fall Winter 2010

I seems that Jonathon Saunders forgot which season he is showing, as this seems to be a spring summer collection. I am hoping the commercial collection has some darker colours, because I don’t know many people who wear all white and light grey during the cold months. Jonathon was obviously inspired by 90s minimalism, which seems to be on many designers minds at the moment, and I like that, but I feel it doesn’t represent his brand very well.

I Love…

90s minimalism. The red yoke of this dress, the simple a-line shape, and the neutral colours of the footwear and socks which are very clean and simple.

the degrade on this top, and this flirty little skirt. But not for winter, this is strictly summer wear.

I Loathe…

the neutral tones on this dress, which looks more bland than simple.

another dress without a story. This should have been in the commercial collection, not on the catwalk.

an unflattering, summery skirt.
