Christian Dior presented their 60′s cruise-inspired resort collection in Shanghai, which seems to be very much the norm right now with big luxury brands who are trying to woo the Chinese market. I really like this collection, but it feels more spring summer rather than resort. I guess this stuff would be wearable if you were actually on a cruise, but not many people do cruises anymore, and this collection feels far too stuffy for a resort or a yacht.

overdone ballgowns in a resort collection. This should be for haute couture.
