Resort 2011: Burberry Prorsum

This Burberry Prorsum resort collection is quite boring, it looks very similar to the fall winter collection. I am not saying that Burberry should re-invent themselves for the resort season, but at least try and use some slightly more “resort” fabrics.

I love…

this ruched blouse. The detailing is beautiful.

I loathe…

the ruching around the stomach on this dress. Completely unflattering.

this Burberry trenchcoat. I've seen it a million times before.

this skinny boy. I wished this look was over. He is SO boring. Skinny jeans and pointy shoes should be off the catwalks. But I love the girl's top.

    You wish this was look was over? You wear whatever you like and feel confortable in. Don't let someone dictate a look for you!

    Good point, I don't wish this look to be over, however I feel that designer

    brands need to lead, and Burberry is not doing this. The pieces on the

    catwalk are the same that they have done for several seasons now, and in

    that respect, they are “over.” Despite the fact that they would look good on

    many people, it annoys me when brands make themselves out to be at the

    cutting edge of fashion, but rather than come up with new designs, they

    are too busy filming celebrities walking into their live streamed show.
